'Often I receive questions asking how many people LARP. I do not think there is any one place that collects this data. But it would be great to know.
One interesting way I found was to use Google's Frappr which plots out the location of people and places on a map. This can be a great way to see how far Larplist.com is reaching around the globe. Take a look and if you want, add your location to the LARP Census! Hopefully we can show that LARP is a huge movement around the World.

My text which I tried to translate with Google was german in the original. Here my translation attempt into English, I am afraid I don't know French
):
'A fellow american LARPer requested to put Your location onto a LARP-worldmap. His goal is to have a rough approximation of LARPers around the globe.
He knows that he will only get a very vague estimate - but perhaps this map helps to get into contact with other LARPers from different countries, exchanging ideas and experiences.'
Again I am sorry that I don't speak French - and that Google is no real translation alternative.
